Hi Breakers!
Like many of you, we were sad to see the development of Spellbreak come to a close. In order to help memorialize Spellbreak and allow players to continue to enjoy the Hollow Lands, we created a standalone version where players can host their own servers, play with their friends, and explore the game-space at their own pace.
Thank you for playing and being a part of the wonderful and passionate community that allowed us to bring Spellbreak to life. We wish you all the best!

Harness the raw power of your gauntlets and tap into the unimaginable forces of the elemental planes . Soar into fierce battles, through floating islands and impossible terrain, to unleash the Breaker within.
BUILD YOUR BATTLEMAGE
Choose a class: Frostborn, Conduit, Pyromancer, Toxicologist, Stoneshaper, or Tempest. Each has its own playstyle, which you can customize with talents as you grow in power. Which will you master?
COMBINE THE ELEMENTS
A mighty battlemage isn’t limited to just one ability. Seize hold of two powerful magic gauntlets and blend devastating spell combinations to control the battlefield with fiery tornadoes, electrified gas clouds, and more!
BATTLE ACROSS THE HOLLOW LANDS
Explore the map and find tactical advantages to outplay your opponents. Discover hidden chests that contain magical runes and game-changing equipment. These items give you the ability to fly, teleport, control time, become invisible, and more.

To join a match, download “spellbreak-community-version-client-windows.zip”
- Read the contained “README FIRST” pdf for information on how to join games and do a first time setup.
- Check out Console Commands.pdf for a list of in-game commands to tailor how your game is set up.
To host a server, download “spellbreak-community- version-server-windows.zip”
- Read the contained “How to Host a Server” pdf for a step by step guide of how to run your own server.
Note: You do not need the .pdb to play or host.
- The .pdb contains debugging information for the client and server .exes.

Can you do get this version on PS5? I've been wanting to play this game, but once I got it, it was already gone.
Is there any alternative way to open the command prompt since the tilde isnt working for me?
I just dealt with the same issue.
On windows settings go to Language & Region
Add English with UK keyboard to your languages
Once its installed Win Key + Space to toggle between them select the newly downloaded keyboard
Now the key above your tab next to the 1 should work as tilde
the backtick? i'm suprised that would work i'm going to try it out my keyboard format is uk considering i'm originally from there

Thanks for this, damn i thght this game was dead. First time in my life that i couldnt play a game i liked...im playing old ps2 emulators and shiz, glad i can still SpamSpells
Is there a way to get blessings to work, or at least, equip them via console commands? Whenever I arrive at a shrine/temple, I can see them and it says I can interact with them but it doesn't let me interact with them
Is there a way to allow the console players to connect as well? A lot of the playerbase were console oriented players.
some controllers can connect to your pc or laptop
Still wondering how to setup for public server?
Working on a YT video to help bring attention.. It may be a pipe dream... But, if we could generate enough hype, you never know......?

no i don't think so because the files are on windows format sorry i wish it was for all-platforms

Its absolutely amazing that you all were able to get this for the community to play with. Shows how much you all love and care for the game and the community.
Would you all be able to give us a Linux build of the game server?
Maybe even files we can use to really dig deep into tweaking how the game is played and how modable the server and game client are?

any other game company would just do nothing when there game get discounted

This is really cool. The Duelyst devs recently did something similar after service discontinued. This would really help to keep the game alive for a long time especially if you published source code for enhancements.
